One down…a whole year of awards shows to go!
The 2015 People’s Choice Awards pre-show has come and gone, which means it’s time to break down the best and worst dressed stars from the year’s first red carpet.
As always, let’s start with the good, shall we?
Woah, I really like this dress from Pamella Roland. The black and print works perfectly and Camilla is really rocking it. The black strappy shoes are a nice touch as well so elegant and feminine.
The Black and White Balmain Dress is amazing. I love the criss cross halter straps and the striped skirt is a perfect compliment of this dress. The Kwiat Jewels are a nice touch as well.
Melissa gives us a sneak peek at her upcoming plus size clothing range as she steps out in a sleek leather-paneled tunic top, slim black pants and a chunky pair of heels. I am a fan of it. I do enjoy it.
Being on a show called Castle probably makes you want dress like a princess once in a while. Well, mission accomplished, Stana, thanks to this daisy-strewn strapless sheer Carolina Herrera ballgown.
Sarah Hyland’s Christian Siriano dress is an absolute stunner. We love how it’s actually three different types of embroidery, that adds quirk, and yet it somehow doesn’t look disjointed.
PORTIA DE ROSSI
While her wife Ellen DeGeneres made a statement by debuting her clothing line on the red carpet, it’s Portia’s geometric-cutout Zuhair Murad jumpsuit that still has us talking.
The Modern Family star told PEOPLE she has trouble dressing her figure, but she seems pretty happy with her look tonight: A satin-lapel tuxedo blazer worn as a mini and Aldo heels. If only I was courageous like her but she really pulls off this look. you go girl.
Dancing With The Stars leading lady Katrina Smirnoff was all about floral. But Strapless, floor length frock is too much floral for me. But in order to make this a good look I think she could have done with something edgy – maybe a cool bag or some messier hair.
Nothing Matches from her Pink Monique Lhuillier or the Silver Metallic Christian Louboutin shoes, The black Jimmy Choo clutch and the Neil Lane Jewels. I think if she picked one thing to make a statement piece it could work in her favor.
In Juan Carlos Obando, the top doesn’t fit her shape and looks too small for the busty actress. The skirt is the only thing that flatters her petite figure. I do however love her Jimmy Choo shoes and the Irene Neuwirth and Graziela Gems Jewels. Shame that the dress let her down.
Chloe Moretz in Louis Vuitton
There is so much going on with her outfit, It is like she is another one fallen victim with too many statement pieces. The top on it’s own is nice. The shoes on their own is nice, The skirt is terrible in my opinion but together. It is a war zone with no winner.
There is far too much fabric, too many pleats, and a confusing hemline. Ginnifer deserved better.
The pants are just too frumpy for Ellen, this outfit is a very ill fitting piece Elie Saab and Christian Louboutin shoes that you can’t even see. It is a surprise she didn’t fall over.
She is rocking her two-piece Giambattista Valli Haute Couture. But her top makes me question this look with the whole baggy Eighties- silhouette sequin top that and a sequin tube skirt .She’s paired this with a messy ponytail. Not my favourite look at all.
